Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Problems

I just got a copy of the game, installed it, got all the updates, and when I start the game it loads the initial screens (ubisoft logo, loading screen, etc), and as soon as the loading screen goes away the screen turns black. I can still hear the buttons when I scroll over them and press them, I just can't see anything. help would be greatly appreciated.

Try updating videocard's drivers and the DirectX. Also check if your videocard is listed on the game list of supported video cards (check the system requirements).

if useing vista also try setting the compatibility settings for xp it helps some times like runing as admin.
