Quake 3 Help

I have quake 3 and i using a crack its funny the computer won t let me win the computer always sense an error when i win right when i get the last frag. It comes up with an error report saying that there is a problem with a Quake3.exe and stops the game. My quake is nt a normal version either its a 200mb version and i am sure quake3 is about 500-600mb. Some one help, i have also tried a crack from the website and it seems not to work properly. could someone help please.
