Do not ask for No-CD/DVD cracks for the following games:
Two Worlds Bioshock Mass Effect Alone in the Dark Spore Red Alert 3 Sacred 2 Crysis Warhead Armed Assault v1.14+ FIFA 09 FIFA Manager 09 NHL 09 NBA 09 NFS: Undercover Dead Space Far Cry 2 My Sims Littlest Pet Shop Football Manager 09 Legendary GTA4 The Lord Of The Rings:Conquest Mirror's Edge Mercenaries2: World in Flames X-Blades Saint's Row 2 Burnout Paradise Perimeter2 FEAR2 Warhammer 40: Dawn of War 2 Empire: Total War Red Alert 3: Uprising The Godfather 2 Speedball Watchmen Hinterland The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena DCS Black Shark- Ghostbusters: The Game Anno 1404 ArmA2 East India Company Batman: Arkham Asylum Children of the Nile: Enhanced Edition - Alexandria Mosby's Confederation Tales of Monkey Island - season 1 Trine Majesty 2 Blood Bowl Darkest of Days Twin Sector Order of War 1701 AD Gold Edition Mount and Blade Theatre of War 2 Africa 1943 Dreamkiller All Aspect Warfare Angle of Attack Sacred2: Ice and Blood Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Madballs in Babo Invasion Star Trek D-A-C Men of War Red Tide All of the games require an online activation, at which point, a disc is no longer needed. ArmA v1.14 removes the CD-check, but still verifies about a legit serial number. If a generated CD-key is found the infamous FADE will kick in. Bypassing the CD-key check is considered illegal, so questions about how to bypass that will not be allowed. Other games have a protection tied to Steam which is considered another sort of online activation. Any posts/threads related to these topics will be closed and/or deleted. The list will be updated with the games that are using SecuRom online and various forms of online activation. Last edited by wolfsrain; 15-11-2009 at 08:31 PM. Reason: new titles added |

So these games, essentially, require a person to connect to the distributors online server to verify their copy of the game?
Imagine the disappointment of someone who just wasted 50 bucks for a game they can't play because they have no Internet. This is why the Internet needs to be government subsidized. |

I'm gonna close this thread, as this was created just as a source of information. You can make a new thread for discussing today's DRM on games, but this will stay just as an information source. That way people will know two things: there will not be any crack posted on their favorite backup sites and the games act like a rental.
I'll add a warning for anyone that will asks for cracks for the games mentioned in not allowed list: you will get a temporary ban. Also if people are doing more accounts just to push the same question about those cracks over and over again, they'll get a perma ban. Last edited by wolfsrain; 18-09-2009 at 07:16 PM. |
