Default frontline fuel of war problems

I got my game from d2d download, I have downloaded patch 1.1.0, pop up blockers off, firewall off, newest version of direct x from microsoft.com.
i can play the game up to the graveyard board but when it tries to load that board," unexpected error ffow must close" pops up. When trying to download patch 1.1.1 i get that same error.
my d2d scan of my computer says i am in compliance with all my hardware for this game. direct 2 drive says i need to download the 1.1.1 patch, and thats all they have said in 5 days.
I thought i would try this forum. thank you for any help

Since you are dealing with a legit downloaded game i would really suggest you hit up there customer service cause some of the things they do to these games makes them diffrent from a regularly installed from disc game check there forums i'm sure its happened to other people.
